On June 03, 2021 Milkha Singh was admitted in Post Graduate Institute of Medical Educaation and Research (PGIMER) Hospital. After being negative and shifted out of COVID-ICU, India's Flying SIKH, foue-time 'Asian Games' Gold Medalist Milkha Singh passed away due to Post-Covid Complications at the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Educaation and Research (PGIMER) Hospital. Milha Singh earned the title of 'The Flying Sikh' for athletic success on the world stage and now he is no more with us.
After few days ago Milkha Singh's wife and former India Women Vollyball team captain, Nirmal Kaur passed away. Nirmal Kaur died at Mohali's Hospital due to COVID-19 related Complications on sunday. She was 85 years old. Milkha Singh dies of COVID-19 related complications, five days after wife Nirmal Kaur's death. The decesed is survived by 3 Daughters Dr. Mona Singh, Aleeza Grover, Sonia Sanwalka, and son Jeev Milkha.
