  • Haryana: The State reportes 102 new COVID-19 cases, 253 recoveries and 19 deaths. There are 1,900 active cases are undergoing treatment.

  • Maharashtra: Chief Minister directs Health Dept to make plans to for all districts to tackle the possible third wave of COVID. CM was talking to collectors of Raigad, Ratnagiri, Sindhudurg, Satara, Sangli, Kolhapur & Hingoli districts. Health Min Rajesh Tope was also present.

  • Goa: We have to wait till July & let number of cases go to zero. We'll reopen Goa for tourists with proper screening. Both doses of vaccines & -ve RT-PCR report will be made mandatory for tourists for first three months after reopening of tourism in state.

  • Madhya Pradesh: 5 people so far found infected with Delta Plus variant of coronavirus in Madhya Pradesh. One of them has died, while the other 4, who had got vaccine doses, are doing fine.

  • Supreme Court directs all State Boards to notify the scheme for assessment within 10 days from today and declare the internal assessment results by July 31, like the timeline specified by it for CBSE and ICSE.


  • Supreme Court says there can't be a uniform scheme for assessment for all state boards across India. SC refuses to pass such order while hearing a plea seeking cancellation of class XII examination.


  • More than 1.89 crore (1,89,86,504) balance and unutilized COVID vaccine doses are still available with the States/UTs to be administered.
    More than 21,05,010 vaccine doses are in the pipeline and will be received by the States/UTs within the next 3 days.

  • Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) said, 18,59,469 samples were tested yesterday. There are 39,78,32,667* samples tested for COVID-19 up to June 23, 2021.


  • India reported 54,059 new coronavirus(COVID-19) cases.
