Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) issued a notice for Online Registration & uploading of documents, Documents Verification and
Application Form Confirmation for admissions to First Year of Three Year duration Full Time Diploma Engineering
and Technology programs in the Government, Government Aided, University Managed and Unaided private
educational institutes for the Academic Year 2021-22 in the State of Maharashtra.
However, considering the COVID-19 outbreak, it is essential to maintain the social distancing and avoid
the crowding of parents and students at the designated Facilitation Centers(FC).
In view of this, the concept of e-Scrutiny in addition to the Physical Scrutiny of the documents is made
available by the Competent Authority. The candidate shall select the mode of scrutiny depending upon his/her
convenience for online filling & confirming the application form.
›› Candidates who have registered with Maharashtra State Board 10th std/SSC examination for April-May 2021 shall fill their Examination Seat Number in Educational Qualification Details and complete the forms by paying the fees. (Candidate shall obtain Examination Seat Number from their respective school.)
›› Marks obtained by the candidate in April-May 2021 Maharashtra State Board 10th std/SSC examination will be fetched from the result data received from Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) and it will be updated in the application form of the Candidate.
›› After declaration of the result of 10th std/SSC examination by Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) candidate shall verify the correctness of mark/s in his/her application form and in case of discrepancies of the mark/s candidate shall raise grievances through either e-Scrutiny Mode or Physical Scrutiny Mode. Mark/s shall be modified if the grievance raised is justified and found correct.
›› Candidate registered for Class 10, April-May 2021 examination from CBSE and ICSE board shall fill their Educational Qualification Details after declaration of the result from respective board and complete application form.
›› Candidate Passed 10th Std./ SSC examination prior to 2021 shall fill & complete the application form with all qualification details and upload relevant document by paying the fees. ›› The term “Aggregate marks” is defined separately for State Board/ICSE and CBSE candidates in the Information Brochure.
›› In case the result of the candidate is given in terms of grades, such candidates are required to submit the graded result into the equivalent marks authorized from the concerned Institute /Board. The eligibility shall be decided on the basis of equivalent marks.
2. Candidates are required to pay application fee as given below only by online mode through Credit Card/ Debit Card/ UPI/ Net Banking (No other mode of payment shall be permitted). Application fee paid is nonrefundable.

›› The Candidates opting Physical Scrutiny Mode shall strictly follow the guidelines related to COVID-19 outbreak issued by the Government of Maharashtra from time to time. It is essential to maintain the social distancing and avoid the crowding of the aspiring candidates and parents at the designated Facilitation Centers.
›› If candidates fail to confirm online filled application form as per the mode selected either by E-Scrutiny Mode or Physical Scrutiny Mode, then such applications will be rejected and name of such candidates will not appear in the merit list(s) prepared for the purpose of Admission for both CAP as well as Non-CAP process.
›› All Backward Class candidates (for VI/DT NT(A), NT(B), NT(C), NT(D), OBC, SBC Category) shall produce Non Creamy Layer certificate valid up to 31" March 2022 as per the mode selected either by E-Scrutiny Mode or Physical Scrutiny Mode If these candidates are not able to produce the Non Creamy Layer certificate, then such candidates will be treated as GENERAL category candidates and such candidates will not be able to claim Reserved seats under the admission process.
›› Economically Weaker Section (EWS) Candidate shall produce Eligibility Certificate for Economically Weaker Section valid up to 31 March 2022 as per the mode selected either by E-Scrutiny Mode or Physical Scrutiny Mode. If these candidates are not able to produce the Eligibility Certificate for Economically Weaker Section, then such candidates will be treated as GENERAL category candidates and such candidates will not be able to claim Reserved seats under the admission process.
›› During E-Scrutiny Mode or Physical Scrutiny Mode. Candidate shall produce the relevant & valid documents. to substantiate the claim made in the application form. In case of non submission of the relevant documents, the candidate shall lose such claims made in the application and applications of such candidates shall be confirmed without considering such claims.
›› Candidates who have registered as a reserved category candidate but unable to produce required certificate for reservation claim during documents verification stage either by E-Scrutiny Mode or Physical Scrutiny Made shall be treated as GENERAL category candidates and have to pay difference of fee of 100/ through online mode only.
›› Candidates opting for Physical Scrutiny Mode shall carry all required documents in original for scrutiny at FC
›› The further schedule for Filling & Confirmation of Option Form for CAP Rounds, CAP Allotment, Acceptance. of seat reporting to Institutes by candidates, cut off date of admission etc. shall be declared after declaration of the Final Merit List and shall be published on website: http://poly21.dtemaharashtra.gov.in
1. Candidate who have opted Physical Scrutiny Mode can avall the IT facility which is available at Facilitation Centre (FC) free of cost for submission, scanning and uploading documents, and confirmation of Application form. The candidate shall adhere to the COVID-19 guidelines issued by the GoM time to time during reporting at the FC.
2 For Physical Scrutiny Mode: List of FC's is available on website and these FC's shall remain open during the schedule between 10.00 a.m. to 6.00 pm.
3. Eligibility, Rules & regulations for admission shall be made available on the website.
