Twitter, an American microblogging and social networking service on Friday, August 06, 2021 has restored "Verification Badge" on M S Dhoni's  Official Twitter handle after removing the  Verification Badge. The Verification Badge (Blue Tick) is restored within an hours. 
Twitter, an American microblogging and social networking service on Friday, August 06, 2021 was removed a "Blue Verification Badge" from former Indian cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni's account. 

The blue Verified badge  on Twitter lets people know that an account of public interest is authentic. To receive the blue badge, your account must be authentic, notable, and active.


 When Twitter remove Verification Badge (Blue Tick) ?

Twitter may remove the blue verified badge and verified status of a Twitter account when:
  1. The Verification Badge may automatically removed from inactive and incomplete accounts.
  2. If an account changes account name or username (@xxxxx).
  3. If the owner of the account is no longer for which position they were initially verified and do not otherwise meet Twitter's criteria for verification since leaving such position.
  4. It may also remove the blue badge from accounts that are found to be in severe or repeated violation of the Twitter Rules.


Former Indian Cricketer commonly known as "Captain Cool" he is inactive on his Official Twitter handle since Saturday, January 09, 2021.  He last Tweeted on Friday,  January 08, 2021. Due to inactive on Twitter account since last 7 months, Twitter may  removed a "Blue Verification Badge"  from M S Dhoni's Official Twitter Handle. 

For the past few months or years,  M S Dhoni has reduced his use of Twitter.

After that he has not Tweeted on his Twitter handle.
