• India’s cumulative COVID vaccination coverage exceeded 35 crore (35,05,42,004). A total of 57,36,924 vaccine doses have been administered today, as per the 7 pm provisional report.

• Punjab: Government crossed the fixed target of 5.14 lakh vaccinations by vaccinating more than 5 lakh people. With this, as many as 78 lakh doses of vaccinations have been administered so far in the State.

• Karnataka: The state Government issues guidelines for COVID-19 surveillance, containment & caution for the entire State, except Kodagu district as the case positivity rate is greater than 5%. These measures will come into effect from 6 am on July 5 up to 6 am on July 19.

• Maharashtra: Surpassed our previous best performance in COVID vaccination. We've administered 7,85,311 COVID vaccine doses till 7pm today. Vaccination is in progress at many centres. May cross 8 lakh figure today.

• Maharashtra: COVID-19 restrictions relaxed in Aurangabad district, monuments allowed to be open till 4pm for visitors.

  Daily positivity rate at 2.35%, less than 5% for 26 consecutive days.
  Active caseload further declines at 4.95 lakh, less than 5 lakh after 97 days.
  Weekly positivity rate drops to less than 5%, currently at 2.50%
  India registered more than 57 Thousand (57,477) COVID-19 recoveries in the last 24 hours.
  4.46 crore vaccine doses administered so far.
  Testing capacity substantially ramped up- 41.64 crore tests conducted so far.
