COVID-19 UPDATES IN INDIA (June 13, 2021)

  • Maharashtra: A total of 7,395 cases of Black Fungus (mucormycosis) has been reported in the State. Of these, 644 infected individuals died while 2,212 have recovered. Maximum number of Black fungus cases were reported in Pune, Nagpur, Nashik and Solapur districts.

  • West Bengal: The state reports 3,984 new COVID-19 cases, 2,497 recoveries and 84 deaths in the last 24 hours. There are 17,651 active cases are undergoing treatment.

    1,32,062     patients have been discharged from the hospital due to their good health condition. There are 3,303 deaths reported in last 24 hours. Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) said, 19,00,312 samples were tested yesterday.
